Where growth happens
Mo Ranch
Mo-Ranch does not disappoint! Our eighth graders spent four days at Mo Ranch, and it was everything we hoped it would be, mostly because of them. They jumped into every activity, from the ropes courses to the river, and they looked out for each other the whole way. We watched students push past what they thought they could do, and we watched a class become even more of a team. They carried themselves like Patriots all week, and we couldn't be prouder. This is a powerful group, and we can't wait to see what they do with the rest of their final year in middle school - and beyond.
Hands-On, Learning Lights On
Our sixth graders have had a busy start to the year, and they've done a lot of their learning out of their seats. First, they brought biographies to life by stepping into the shoes of the people they studied over the summer and into the fall. Each student took on a biography and became that person, sharing their story with confidence and a lot of personality. Then Becky Gonzales and Carrie Nesmith took Social Studies outside the classroom with a field trip to the Lubbock Lake Landmark. It's one thing to read about the people who lived on the South Plains years ago, and it's another to stand where they stood. We're so thankful for experiences like these that make learning last.
Our middle school patio got a lot more colorful this month! The National Junior Honor Society hosted its 2nd Annual Pumpkin Painting Contest, and middle schoolers showed up with paintbrushes and big ideas. Some worked in teams and some painted on their own, and the results ranged from spooky to silly to seriously impressive. The best part is where the pumpkins go next. Every one of them is headed to the Lubbock Arboretum Pumpkin Trail, where they'll be on display to support the Arboretum's mission. Thank you to Christina Barritt and our NJHS students for organizing a fun event that also gives back to our community. Go see the trail if you get a chance, and look for some Patriot pumpkins!

Patriot in the Spotlight
Congratulations to Hudson James on an incredible achievement at this past weekend’s TMEA Middle School All-Region Orchestra auditions! Hudson earned 2nd place overall and secured a spot in the Top Middle School Orchestra as a cellist. We are incredibly proud of his hard work, dedication, and musical accomplishments!
The All-Region Orchestra concert will take place on December 5th at 1:30 p.m. at Coronado High School. Congratulations, Hudson, on this well-deserved honor!
Virtual Meet Challenge
During the month of September, nine students in grades 5-8 participated in the Virtual Challenge Meet competition. VCM, very similar to PSIA, is a competition that allows students to compete against other students throughout the state of Texas in various academic events. Unlike PSIA, however, VCM requires no travel or cost for the student. Competition is held at school under the guidance of All Saints teachers.
Click here for the list of students who competed and the results of those who finished in the top ten in State, District, and grade level.

Volleyball is Unbeaten on the Week

Cheer
Our Middle School Cheerleaders brought plenty of Patriot pride to this year's Homecoming celebration! In preparation for the pep rally, the squad worked hard to learn and perfect a challenging routine, demonstrating dedication, teamwork, and determination.
Their contributions extended far beyond their performance! These young athletes also helped decorate the school for Homecoming week and assisted with preparations for the pep rally. We are incredibly proud of their hard work, enthusiasm, and willingness to lend a helping hand. Way to represent the Patriots!
