HOCO Dance!!
Upper School Art students are thinking outside the box—and the paintbrush! 🎨 Students are exploring creative drawing techniques using unexpected tools like charcoal, tape, sticks, and flat tools with ink. Through these hands-on experiments, they’re discovering new ways to create lines, textures, and expressive works of art!
La Tomatina
On Aug. 26, 8th grade and high school Spanish participated in a simulation of La Tomatina, which takes place every year on the last Wednesday of August in Buñol, Spain. It is the world's largest food fight in which people throw tomatoes grown especially for the event. Students simulated the event by throwing waded up pieces of red paper at each other. They may have had too much fun!
